SINGAPORE, 13 April 2026 – The Philippines has once again reaffirmed its position as a premier global diving destination through its participation in the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) 2026, held at the Suntec Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore from 10 to 12 April 2026.

Led by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, the Philippine delegation mounted the Dive Philippines booth, which highlighted, through a creative 3D display, the country’s rich marine biodiversity and diverse, world-class dive experiences. The Philippines has also served as the official country partner of ADEX for five consecutive years, underscoring its strong presence in the regional dive tourism market.

Comprising 24 participants, the delegation brought together key stakeholders from the Philippine tourism industry, including airlines, dive resorts and centers, and liveaboard operators. These exhibitors represented some of the country’s most sought-after diving destinations, such as Cebu, Batangas, Dumaguete, Palawan, Bohol, and Mindoro.

Visitors to the Philippine booth were introduced to some of the country’s most iconic dive sites, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, Malapascua Island, renowned for thresher shark encounters, and Apo Island, known for its thriving marine sanctuary and sea turtle population.

Multi-published underwater photographer and scuba instructor Mr. Ram Yoro also highlighted Philippine dive adventures through engaging talks delivered at the Philippine booth and at the ADEX main stage, further drawing attention to the country’s unique underwater experiences.

Representatives from the Philippine Embassy in Singapore visited the Dive Philippines Pavilion and engaged with participating stakeholders, expressing support for ongoing efforts to promote the Philippines as a top-of-mind destination for divers and marine enthusiasts in the region.

Recognized as the largest and longest-running dive show in Asia, ADEX is a leading business-to-consumer (B2C) exhibition held as part of Singapore Ocean Week 2026. The event brings together ocean leaders, explorers, and industry stakeholders to promote marine tourism, sustainability, and ocean conservation. /END
