08 April 2025, Singapore – The Philippines marked its 4th year as the official country partner at the 2025 Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) held from 04 to 06 April 2025 at the Suntec Exhibition and Convention Centre in Singapore through the Tourism Promotion Board (TPB) Philippines.
The 2025 and 31st run of the ADEX Ocean Festival was a vibrant celebration of marine life with the theme “Celebrating Marine Life Behaviour.” This year’s event featured over a hundred exhibitors, all coming together from different parts of the world to showcase cutting-edge diving technologies, unique tour packages, and the world’s most sought-after destinations for diving enthusiasts.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore the latest innovations in underwater exploration gear, as well as to discover top destinations that highlight the beauty and diversity of marine ecosystems. In addition to the exhibitions, the festival also hosted a series of thought-provoking fora that focused on raising awareness about the importance of ocean conservation.
Experts shared insights into how divers and enthusiasts alike can contribute to preserving the oceans, while community-building activities created a platform for networking and collaboration, allowing individuals to come together and drive positive change for the marine environment. The event not only highlighted the wonders of the ocean but also inspired participants to take action in preserving its delicate ecosystems for future generations.
The ADEX 2025 Philippine Pavilion was organized by TPB and featured a contingent of 24 co-exhibitors from various regions of the country, including dive operators, resorts, travel agencies, and local government units. Their exhibits aimed to contribute to the promotion of Philippine diving destinations by showcasing captivating dive tours, packages, and conservation initiatives.
Ms. Mavic Sevilla, Acting Head of International Promotions of the TPB, welcomed ADEX participants during the opening ceremony and encouraged visitors to experience the best dive spots in the Philippines located in Palawan, Cebu, Davao, and Negros Oriental.
In support of the event and of the Philippines’ participation, officials from the Philippine Embassy in Singapore visited the Philippine Pavilion at the ADEX. (END)
