SINGAPORE, 13 October 2025 – The Philippines was once again honored as the Best Dive Destination (Asia) at the prestigious Travel Weekly Asia Readers’ Choice Awards 2025, marking its third consecutive win. 

Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo G. Macaraig received the award on behalf of the Philippine Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) at the ceremony held at the Paradox Singapore Merchant Court on 7 October 2025.

This year’s event celebrated excellence across 42 awards in seven categories, recognizing outstanding achievements among hotels, serviced residences, destinations, cruise lines, travel agencies, and airlines in the Asia Pacific region.

With previous wins in 2021, 2023, and 2024, the Philippines continues to strengthen its reputation as a world-class diving destination, underscoring its leadership in Asia Pacific’s dive tourism sector.

The Travel Weekly Asia Readers’ Choice Awards remains one of the industry’s most respected honors, with winners chosen through votes cast by readers and travel professionals across the region. The awards highlight organizations that exemplify excellence and innovation in Asia Pacific’s travel and hospitality industries.
