SINGAPORE, 4 February 2026 – Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo G. Macaraig led the ceremonial ribbon-cutting of the Philippine Pavilion located at Hall C-F91 of the Changi Exhibition Centre during the opening of the Singapore Airshow on 3 February 2026.
The Philippine Pavilion aims to showcase the country’s aviation, tourism, and infrastructure strengths, underscoring aviation’s role as a catalyst for national growth. Under the theme “Love the Philippines – Together We Fly,” the Pavilion highlights strong public-private collaboration driving enhanced air connectivity, world-class infrastructure, and expanding aerospace capabilities. Anchored by the Department of Tourism (DOT) in partnership with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), the Philippines signals its readiness to scale up airport modernization, MRO expansion, airline growth, and global partnerships, positioning the country as an emerging hub for regional connectivity and inclusive economic progress.
Ambassador Macaraig elaborated on this theme in his keynote message by highlighting that the Philippine aerospace community is eager and well-equipped to partner with other industry players on manufacturing and supply chains, maintenance and aviation services, routes and air access, airport-linked development, and on sustainable aviation fuel.
Interested partners may visit the PH Pavilion until Friday, 6 February 2026, for business-to-business (B2B) meetings with participating Philippine government and private sectors including the DOT, BCDA, Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC)-Singapore, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), , Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA), Berthapil Inc., Fairs and More Inc., Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (LIPAD) Corp. / Clark International Airport, Skytrack Aviation Services, Wingbox Aviation Inc., Skyway Airlines, Inc. and Aerospace Industries Association of the Philippines (AIAP).
The Singapore Airshow, renowned as Asia’s premier international aerospace and defense exhibition, serves as a pivotal platform for industry stakeholders to build strategic alliances and drive transformative changes within the global aviation landscape.
