PRESS RELEASE | PR-129-2026

The Philippine Embassy’s Art Trek continues on its 17th year, opening new pathways for Filipino creatives across art disciplines. We are delighted to partner once more with the Singapore Book Council for the Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC) 2026.
With AFCC 2026 entitled “The Worlds We Make”, Art Trek 17 journeys into the dynamic world of books, storytelling, and illustration, where Filipino writers, illustrators, and publishers will again take center stage in one of the region’s premier cross-cultural platforms for children’s literature and creative content.
Timed as a belated celebration of Buwan ng Panitikang Filipino (National Literature Month) this April, and in the lead-up to National Heritage Month in May, Philippines’ participation at the AFCC highlights the depth, diversity, and global resonance of Filipino storytelling and artistic expression.
The Philippine Embassy is pleased to invite creatives, families, educators, and members of the Filipino community in Singapore, as well as friends of Philippine literature, to support and engage with our Filipino artists as they share their stories with the world at the AFCC 2026, taking place at the National Library Building from 21 to 24 May 2026.
🇵🇭 Meet the four (4) Filipino storytellers and educators bringing our voices to life at AFCC 2026:
