25 November 2024, Singapore — The Philippine Embassy in Singapore hosted a gathering on 18 November 2024 at the Official Residence of the Philippine Ambassador to  celebrate the remarkable success and growth of Food Trek over the past two years with the support of its partners. 

Launched during the 125th Philippine Independence Anniversary in 2023 with only 13 partners, Food Trek has grown to a community of over 30 Filipino restaurateurs, chefs, and business owners.  It has become a key platform for showcasing Filipino cuisine in Singapore.  Food Trek was also the driving force behind the creation of the PH Embassy microsite featuring cultural and Filipino Community events.  

In his message during the event, Philippine Ambassador to Singapore H.E. Medardo G. Macaraig expressed gratitude to the attendees for their invaluable support and contribution; and conveyed his anticipation for more collaboration among the Food Trek partners. 

In true Filipino tradition, the gathering featured a potluck lunch of Filipino food favorites shared by the Food Trek partners.
