SINGAPORE, 15 May 2025 – Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 818, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore joins the Department of Foreign Affairs and all Philippine Government Agencies and Departments in celebrating the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month this May 2025.

This year’s celebration of EODB Month, with the theme “From Red Tape to Red Carpet: Better Business Movement in a Bagong Pilipinas”, aims to raise awareness, promote reforms, and encourage collaboration among government agencies, the private sector, and the public to enhance the ease of doing business in the Philippines.

Since 2022, the Philippine Embassy has been utilizing a digital feedback mechanism as part of the DFA’s External Client Feedback Program. It also continues to adopt an online appointment system for its clients availing themselves of consular and labor services. Apart from cash payments for these services, the Embassy likewise makes cashless payment, through PayNow, available for its clients.  In 2024, the Embassy received positive comments on its consular services, highlighting organized, fast and efficient service,  immediate replies to email and messenger inquiries, accessible location, and staff compliments.

The Philippine Embassy will continue to find more ways to maintain the excellent customer service rating that it has consistently achieved in the last few years, and improve in areas where such improvements are necessary.

The Philippine Embassy thanks the Filipino Community in Singapore and other Embassy clients for recognizing the hard work and dedication of its personnel, including its attached agencies, namely the MWO-Singapore, OWWA-Singapore, SSS and Pag-IBIG, the Philippine Investment and Trade Centre (PTIC) and the Office of the Defense and Armed Forces Attaché (ODAFA).
