Singapore, 26 November 2025 – The Philippines received several recognitions at the Travel Daily Media (TDM) Travel Trade Excellence Awards Asia 2025, held on 26 November 2025 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. The Philippine Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) received two (2) accolades, namely, Tourism Board Campaign of the Year and Community Initiative of the Year. Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo G. Macaraig accepted the award on behalf of TPB.

In his brief acknowledgment remarks, the Ambassador thanked Travel Daily Media for the recognition, conveyed the TPB’s appreciation, and emphasized that the awards underscore the dedication of Philippine tourism institutions, private sector partners, and local communities to elevate the Philippines as a world-class destination.

Aside from the TPB, several key Philippine industry partners received awards for their exceptional contributions in various areas, including cruise ship entertainment, specialty travel agency services, and excellence in entertainment and resort hotels. Mactan-Cebu International Airport was recognized as Airport of the Year (Asia), 2GO Travel received Cruise Ship Entertainment of the Year, while Solaire Resort Entertainment City was named Casino Hotel of the Year. These accolades showcase the Philippines’ achievements across key sectors of the travel and hospitality industry.

The Travel Trade Excellence Awards Asia is a prestigious industry event that recognizes outstanding achievements in travel and hospitality. Winners are selected based on excellence, professionalism, and innovation within their respective fields. This year’s event highlighted examples of innovation, service quality, and collaborative efforts aimed at supporting a sustainable travel industry in Asia.
