SINGAPORE, 24 November 2025 – The Philippine Embassy congratulates the Philippine Army Shooting Contingent (PASCON), together with members of the Medical Scientific Athletic Services (MSAS) and the Philippine Sports Commission for showcasing excellence, world-class skill, discipline and sportsmanship at the 33rd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) in Singapore.
Led by Contingent Commander Col. Wilfredo C. Martin, Jr. INF (MNSA) PA, the Philippine team delivered exceptional performance during the first match of the AARM held on 22 November winning Gold Medals for Pistol Men and Women Individual Category as well as the Carbine Team sweeping the Individual Category with Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals. The PASCON garnered additional four (4) Gold, six (6) Silver, and six (6) Bronze Medals in the Team Match 1 events.
The AARM is an annual competition between the ASEAN Armies to foster camaraderie between the neighboring countries. The AARM is being held from 18 to 28 November 2025.
