On 14 August 2025, the NBL Youth – Pilipinas South Cavite team paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of the Philippine to Singapore, H.E Medardo G. Macaraig.

The NBL team is in Singapore to participate in the Starlight International Youth Basketball Open (SIYBO), which will be held from 15 to 17 August 2025 at the Bukit Canberra ActiveSG Sports Hall.

The Embassy enjoins the Filipino community in Singapore to extend their support to NBL Youth – Pilipinas South Cavite (U13 category) and Siklab Bataan Team (U14 category) as they compete in this international youth basketball tournament.
