Consular Section and Labor Section business hours: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Effective 19 March 2020, the Embassy will require clients to make an appointment for all consular and labor transactions.

A no appointment, no entry policy will be strictly enforced. Only the client with appointment will be allowed entry. For minors, only one parent or the legal guardian (with sufficient documentation) will be allowed to accompany the applicant.

The Embassy (including the Consular Section and Labor Section) is closed on official public holidays of Singapore and the Philippines. Click the link to refer to the Embassy’s public holiday closures.

Authentication or Notarization. The releasing of authenticated or notarized documents is 2 business days after the customer’s submission of the unprocessed documents.

OEC. The releasing of first-time online OEC registration is on the same day of application. Succeeding online OEC applications are processed through the BM Online website.

OWWA. The releasing of OWWA membership receipt is on the same day of application.

Verification of work contracts. The regular processing of work contract verification with authentication is 4 business days.

Visas. The regular processing of a single-entry short-stay visa (for either business or tourism) is 2 days or 10 days, depending on the passport’s issuing country. The processing of a multiple-entry visa is 4 to 6 weeks.

Renewed Philippine passports. Renewed Philippine passports, which are printed in the Philippines, are expected to be available for the passport holder’s collection about eight (8) weeks after the passport renewal appointment. Passport applicants may check the Embassy website’s EPASSPORTS READY FOR COLLECTION section to confirm their new passport’s availability before coming to the Embassy.
