Following a successful debut in 2025, Manila Meets Madrid returns by popular demand — this time with a significantly expanded showcase of Filipino cuisine firmly at its heart. This year’s edition highlights the richness and diversity of Filipino culinary traditions, thoughtfully complemented by Spanish influences that reflect centuries of shared history.
Guest chefs from The Heritage Hotel Manila combine their culinary expertise with The Orchard Hotel’s culinary team to present a more refined and expansive spread this year, featuring a mix of Filipino classics and regional specialties, including:
✨Lechon (Roasted Pork)
✨Sizzling Sisig (Pork Sizzler) Live Station
✨Chicken Adobo, Beef Kare-Kare, and Bicol Express
✨Pancit Palabok and Lumpiang Sariwa (Rice Noodles and Fresh Spring Rolls)
✨Pinoy-style Fish Paksiw and Bulalo (Braised Fish and Beef Marrow Soup)
✨Inihaw na Pusit and Hipon from the live grill (Grilled Squid and Prawns)
These are complemented by Spanish highlights such as Seafood Paella, Pulpo a la Gallega, and Slow-Roasted Spanish Paprika Prime Rib, alongside a wide array of international selections.
A generous dessert spread completes the experience, featuring Filipino classic desserts such as Halo-Halo (shaved ice dessert), Maja Blanca (coconut milk pudding), Turon (banana spring rolls), Bibingka (rice cake), and Leche Flan (caramel custard), alongside Spanish classics such as Tarta de Santiago (almond cake) and Crema Catalana (Spanish custard).
More than a buffet, Manila Meets Madrid is a celebration of shared heritage — told through flavors, traditions, and culinary craftsmanship that bridge cultures and generations.
Complementing the buffet experience, the Filispano Afternoon Tea is available at Bar Intermezzo daily from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, offering a refined interpretation of Filipino and Spanish flavours. The set features savoury highlights such as King Crab Lumpiang Sariwa and Wagyu Beef Dinakdakan Tart, alongside desserts including Tarta de Santiago, Chocolate Dulce de Leche, Mango Float, and Ube Leche Flan.
