What are Retail Treasury Bonds?

Retail Treasury Bonds (RTBs) are peso-dominated, low risk fixed income investments that provide interest every quarter. Moreover, they are part of the National Government’s savings mobilization program designed to enhance retail access to government securities. Proceeds from the issuance of bonds are directed to financing the Republic’s priority projects and key national expenditures as approved by the National budget.
