PRESS RELEASE | PR-051-2026

In celebration of National Women’s Month (NWM) 2026, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore invites all Filipino women and girls in Singapore to join our photo contest inspired by the 2026 NWM subtheme – “Lead Like Babaylans, Filipinas!

The theme pays tribute to the babaylans – the pre-colonial spiritual leaders, healers, and community guides of the Philippines – who continue to symbolize courage, wisdom, resilience, and transformative leadership.

Show us how you or your fellow Juanas embody Babaylan 2.0  – whether at home, at work, in school, in your community, or in quiet everyday acts of strength.
