SINGAPORE, 29 June 2026 – While in Singapore, Secretary for Migrant Workers Hans Leo J. Cacdac met separately with Minister for Manpower Dr. Tan See Leng and Minister for Health Ong Ye Kung to further strengthen bilateral labor relations between the Philippines and Singapore.

This year marks the 57 years of enduring partnership between the Philippines and Singapore. Singapore is home to approximately 220, 000 Filipinos with 60% engaged as professionals and skilled workers, while the rest contribute as dedicated domestic workers.

Filipino workers have long been vital partners in Singapore’s nation-building, healthcare, and development — bringing professionalism, compassion, and the spirit of bayanihan to their workplaces and communities. /END
