The Philippine Embassy in Singapore extends its best wishes and congratulations to Deputy Chief of Mission and Consul General Emmanuel R. Fernandez on his ad-interim appointment as Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, with concurrent jurisdiction over the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. 

DCM Fernandez joins the other 20 foreign service officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs whose nominations were given consent by the Commission on Appointments during the hearing and plenary sessions of its Committee on Foreign Affairs.
