OWWA Membership

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) is a national government agency vested with the special function of developing and implementing welfare programs and services that respond to the needs of member-OFWs and their families.

OWWA provides social benefits as well as education and training, worker’s welfare, repatriation and reintegration assistance to member-OFWs and/or their dependents.


The OWWA membership is valid for two (2) years from the date of payment regardless of change of employer or job site.  The membership must be renewed every 2 years.


OFWs in Singapore may apply for their OWWA membership at the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore.

Kindly bring the following documents:

  1. OFW Information Sheet. Please click here to download the form;
  2. Original and one photocopy of valid Philippine passport;
  3. Original and one photocopy of valid work pass in Singapore (e.g. Work Permit, S-Pass or Employment Pass);
  4. Professionals and skilled workers should submit a copy of their employment contract or any proof of employment such as the certificate of employment, pay slip or company ID and UEN/RCB/Company Registration Number;
  5. Household Service Workers should bring proof of employer’s identity
  6. Cash payment of S$36.00


Receiving of OWWA membership application is at Windows 1A&1B, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, except on public holidays.
