SINGAPORE, 09 December 2025 – The Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Singapore, Dr. Sa’ed Radaideh paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Medardo G. Macaraig on 08 December 2025 at the Official Residence.

During the call, the Ambassadors exchanged insights on their respective experiences and responsibilities in foreign service. Ambassador Radaideh discussed his previous postings in conflict-affected areas such as Sudan and Gaza, while Ambassador Macaraig reflected on his extensive career in the Philippine foreign service. 

Ambassador Macaraig also highlighted the global presence of Filipinos and discussed the “one-country team” approach (OCTA), emphasizing the importance of close coordination among   Philippine government agencies overseas in advancing  national interests.

Both sides underscored the importance of the Philippines–Jordan relations and reaffirmed the value of continued cooperation in promoting shared priorities.

The Philippines and Jordan will celebrate the golden jubilee of their diplomatic relations on 1 March 2026, having formally established bilateral ties in 1976. (END)
