In celebration of the National Arts Month, the Embassy invites everyone to “Isang Dipang Langit: Fragments of Memory, Fields of Now” landmark group exhibition of Philippine contemporary art at Tanjong Pagar Distripark (39 Keppel Road #01-02). 

 

Curated by Dong Jo Chang, the show draws from Amado V. Hernandez’s poem to explore memory, displacement, and resilience through works by ten acclaimed Filipino artists, namely: Oca Villamiel, Pete Jimenez, Alfredo & Isabel Aquilizan, Elaine Navas, Manuel Ocampo, Dominic Mangila, Russ Ligtas, Eisa Jocson, and Leeroy New, featuring installations, sculptures, paintings, film, and performances.

 

The exhibit, launched on 20 January 2026 as part of the Singapore Art Week, has welcomed over 3,500 visitors. The exhibition was selected by The Straits Times as one of the Top 3 exhibitions to see during Singapore Art Week, highlighting further its positive critical acclaim and growing institutional interest.

 

In response to the sustained visitor turnout and continued demand, the exhibition has been extended until 5 February 2026.

Beyond Isang Dipang Langit: Fragments of Memory, Fields of Now, audiences may also view works by renowned Imelda Cajipe-Endaya at the The Ngee Ann Kongsi Concourse Gallery, National Gallery Singapore as part of Fear No Power: Women Imagining Otherwise, on view until 15 November 2026, as well as a solo exhibition by Wonhee “Whee” Cha Delgado at The Columns Gallery, Gillman Barracks, running until 28 February 2026.
