Lechon Diva (Pepita’s Kitchen), renowned Filipino culinary icon famous for her whole-roast stuffed lechon and Filipino Degustacions. For a limited time, she brings anew her legendary flavors to Singapore in a special cross-cultural dining experience.
As part of Red House Seafood’s 50th anniversary, it is offering an exclusive 6-course menu that blends the bold flavors of Filipino cuisine with the heritage of Nanyang-style cooking. The star of the feast is Dedet’s Lechon with Chorizo and Crab Fat Rice Stuffing, complemented by starters like Prawn Kerabu, Crab Meat & Iberico Pork Lumpia, Squid & Pomelo Kale Salad, and a comforting Seafood Sinigang. End on a sweet note with Crispy Bubur, a playful twist on the classic Filipino halo-halo.

About Ms. Dedet dela Fuente
Restaurateur and chef Dedet dela Fuente, affectionately known as the “Lechon Diva”, is celebrated for her inventive take on the Filipino lechon. Founder of Pepita’s Kitchen in the Philippines and the first Filipino to open a restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip, she has become renowned for her aromatic, flavor-packed stuffed lechons and cochinillo creations. A mother and culinary innovator, Dedet has earned accolades such as Asia’s Most Influential (2021) and the Tastiest Food Award in Asia (2014).
Dedet has also brought Filipino lechon to Singapore multiple times, including pop‑up dinners organized with Cross‑Cultures by Cheryl Tiu and Horse’s Mouth. She participated in the World Street Food Congress in Singapore, where her roasted lechon was a popular highlight.
Her culinary style is known for non‑traditional, rich, aromatic stuffings and inventive contemporary twists on Filipino classics, which has helped showcase Filipino food on global stages.
