The Philippine Embassy in Singapore, guided by the principles of the Magna Carta of Women (Republic Act No. 9710) and with the support of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), reaffirms its commitment to mainstream gender and development (GAD) perspectives in all aspects of diplomatic service.
This GAD Corner serves as a platform to promote gender equality, empower Filipino women and men, and ensure that the Embassy’s programs, policies, and services are inclusive, rights-based, and responsive to the diverse needs of the Filipino community in Singapore.
As an overseas post, the Embassy integrates GAD principles into its operations – from protecting the welfare of women migrant workers and victims of gender-based violence, to strengthening partnerships with local and international stakeholders advocating for equality and empowerment.
