Ambassador Macaraig congratulated the young Filipino mathletes who have qualified for this year’s global finals. In his message,  he said that being part of an international competition of this scale is already a remarkable achievement. “It is my hope that your passion for learning and problem-solving will continue to grow, and that you will one day use your talents to create meaningful change, not only to our country, but towards a better world for all”, he remarked.

This year’s ceremony featured almost 2,400 student finalists, 1,700 parents, and 200 educators from thirty-seven (37) countries. In 2024, the Philippines bagged two overall wins, namely, Overall Champion for Grade 4 and  Overall First Runner-Up for Grade 7.
