The group further shared that their visit in Singapore ahead of their concert has allowed them to connect with their audience, especially the diverse Filipino community in Singapore. Over the weekend, the group visited areas with strong Filipino presence such as Lucky Plaza, Marina Boulevard, Clarke Quay, and VivoCity, where they did not only perform for, but also immersed themselves in the experiences of overseas Filipinos. The Juans shared that they are also producing a three-part vlog titled “S.O.S. (Stories of Singapore)”, which will feature Filipinos from diverse backgrounds based in the city-state.
CDA Santos presented the band with copies of the Embassy-published book “Making a Mark at the Little Red Dot: Trailblazing Filipinos in Singapore”, which chronicles the achievements of overseas Filipinos in Singapore – a narrative that echo themes present in The Juans’ music and message.
Known for their hugot songs that deeply resonate with Filipino audiences, The Juans have built a loyal following for their heartfelt lyrics and emotional performances. Their music captures everyday human experiences like love, hope, and perseverance which have endeared them to listeners both in the Philippines and among Filipino diasporas worldwide.
