SINGAPORE, 10 January 2025 – PH Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Undersecretary Wilford Wil Wong conducted an on-site inspection of the new Philippine Embassy construction project in Singapore. They were accompanied by Philippine Ambassador to Singapore H.E. Medardo G. Macaraig and Embassy officials.

The building is designed to be modern, eco-friendly, and convenient while proudly showcasing Filipino architecture, craftsmanship, and the rich diversity of Philippine culture.The project is being undertaken as part of  efforts to enhance the Embassy’s facilities and better serve the Filipino community in Singapore.

During the visit, Secretary Manalo emphasized the significance of the new embassy in fostering closer ties between the two nations and the DFA’s unwavering commitment to serve the Filipino community here.

Usec. Wong also highlighted the Philippine government’s commitment to investing in infrastructure that enhances the delivery of public services, ensuring the Filipino community abroad remains well-supported.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of this year, with operations commencing shortly thereafter. END
