- Immigrant Visa for Spouse or Unmarried Child/ren of a Filipino citizen – 13(a) Visa
If the application is made by a Spouse of a Filipino Citizen, the following documentary requirements must be submitted:
PSA-issued Marriage Certificate or Report of Marriage
Two (2) copies of completed F.A. Form No. 3 (incomplete forms will be returned)
Valid passport that must be valid for at least one year beyond intended stay
Four (4) 2″ x 2″ photos, taken within 6 months, with signature on front
Medical Certificate (F.A. Form No. 11) from a local physician with:
Chest x-ray on CD
Test results: stool (ova/parasite, occult blood), urinalysis, full blood test (serology & chemistry)
Apostilled Local State Police Clearance (issued within 6 months)
Proof of financial capacity (e.g., credit card statements, bank records for past 6 months, property ownership, etc.) — more than one type required
Personal appearance for interview by consular officer
Proof of Filipino spouse’s Philippine citizenship (e.g., passport or PSA birth certificate)
Applicant’s Apostilled Birth Certificate
Notarized letter from Filipino spouse requesting/petitioning for immigrant visa
Processing fee: SGD 300.00 (SGD 225.00 visa fee + SGD 75.00 notary fees)
All documents to be submitted must include the originals and one (1) photocopy of each.
Same as requirements number 2 to 8 above
Original and 2 photocopies of the minor child’s Apostilled Birth Certificate
Original and 2 photocopies of the proof of parent’s Filipino citizenship (e.g. Philippine passport or Philippine birth certificate).
Sworn Statement of Financial Support executed by parents if requirement no.7 cannot be complied with by applicant
Note:
The Filipino spouse may be required to appear for the applicant’s interview.
The visa officer may request additional documents to assess the application.
