General Information on the Entry of Foreigners

The following categories of foreign nationals shall be allowed entry into the Philippines provided they:

  1. Are holders of passports valid for at least six (6) months at the time of arrival;

  2. Have a return or outbound ticket to their country of origin or next country of destination (Balikbayans are exempted from this requirement);

  3. Have filled out the eTravel Travel Declaration Form. (The eTravel platform is free of charge)

  4. Hold a valid visa OR other documentary requirements stated below:

  2. Foreign nationals from visa-free countries who wish to stay in the Philippines for more than 30 days can either (a) request an extended stay at the Bureau of Immigration upon arrival in the Philippines.

  4. Do not finalize flight bookings until your visa is granted. The Embassy will not expedite processing to match travel dates.
