Today marks 57 years of Philippines-Singapore diplomatic relations. 

As neighbors and fellow founding members of ASEAN,
We share common goals, visions and aspirations for a peaceful, stable, secure and prosperous region, guided by the principles of international law and
respect for the rule of law.

The Philippines, as the 2026 Chair of ASEAN, looks forward to working closely with Singapore, next year’s ASEAN Chair,
to keep ASEAN relevant in the region and beyond. 

Over the years, Philippines-Singapore relations grew from strength-to-strength.
Singapore remains one of the Philippines’ closest and valued defense and economic partners.

Last month, the Philippines and Singapore formalized a landmark climate partnership agreement, establishing a bilateral framework for carbon credit cooperation. Both countries are also finalizing agreements on health cooperation. 

Singapore and the Philippines share strong cultural and people-to-people ties.

The Embassy, together with our vibrant and diverse Filipino Community, greets our Singaporean friends, colleagues, and partners,  a happy 57th anniversary!
