On 25 July 2025, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore, in collaboration with the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), organized An Afternoon Concertino by the Mecosono Chamber Orchestra at the ASEF Headquarters in Singapore. The event was held in celebration of Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino (Philippine Music Week) and as a post-commemoration of Philippine Culture Consciousness Week, also celebrated in July.

The Philippine Embassy in Singapore extends its warmest congratulations to the young Filipino musicians who garnered awards at the 2025 Music Singapore International Competition held from 17 to 20 July 2025. The celebration culminated in a distinguished Awarding Ceremony and Gala Concert held on the last day at the SOTA (School of the Arts) Concert Hall.
Representing the Philippines with excellence were students from Camp Jam Performing Arts School, under the guidance of its founders, Ms. Hannah Valdez and Dr. Jhames F. Labrador, both violinists of the University of the Philippines Symphony Orchestra. The Filipino participants received top honors in Music Theory, Piano, Violin and Ensemble categories. The Philippine Under-16 Boys National Football Team made history on Sunday evening, 13 July, after emerging as champions of the 2025 Lion City Cup held at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore.
