The Philippine Embassy in Singapore and the Philippine Bayanihan Society of Singapore (PBSS) renewed their Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on 17 June 2025, reaffirming their partnership to sustain the operations of the Bayanihan Centre. On 1 June 2025, Philippine Secretary for National Defense Gilberto C. Tedodoro Jr. spoke during the Fifth Plenary Session of the IISS 22nd Asia Security Summit. Secretary Teodoro joined Thai Deputy Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai and Lithuanian Minister for Defense Dovilė Šakalienė in discussing cross-regional security linkages. The session was chaired by IISS Executive Chairman Sir John Chipman.

Secretary of National Defense Gilberto C. Teodoro, Jr. on Sunday morning emphasized the importance of principled leadership, international cooperation, and values-based decision-making in addressing global security challenges. He made the remarks before young professionals and strategic thinkers at the Young Leaders Ministerial Roundtable of the Shangri-La Dialogue earlier today.
