Philippine Ambassador to Singapore H.E. Medardo G. Macaraig signed the book of condolences at the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Singapore this morning, expressing the Philippine Government’s sympathies and solidarity with the people of Myanmar following the devastation caused by the recent 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar and Thailand on 28 March 2025.

This April, we celebrate Buwan ng Panitikang Filipino or the National Literature Month, to honor the rich literary heritage of the Philippines! Under Proclamation No. 968, this annual observance highlights the significance of Philippine literature in shaping our history and culture.
