Temasek Foundation, Filinvest Development Corporation and Lucio Tan Group Donate BiPAP Machines and Face Masks for PH COVID-19 Response

11 September 2020 – Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Joseph del Mar Yap and Madam Lourdes Josephine T. Gotianun Yap, President and CEO of Filinvest Development Corporation, attended the ceremonial turnover of the latest donations from Temasek Foundation in support of  the Philippines’ ongoing COVID-19 response on 10 September 2020 at the Temasek Shophouse. Also present during the ceremonial turnover were Messrs. Benedict Cheong and Gerald Yeo, CEO and Senior Director of Temasek Foundation International, respectively.

The donations include 370 units of Yuwell BiPAP Machines and 100,000 KN95 Face Masks. The Lucio Tan Group shouldered the cost for the donation of another 30 units of the Yuwell BiPAP Machines, while Filinvest will sponsor the freight costs to bring the donations from Singapore to Manila.

This is the 8th batch of donations from Singapore and Temasek Foundation since the pandemic started in the Philippines. So far, Temasek Foundation’s donations to the country’s COVID-19 response have amounted to an estimated USD 10 million. END
