20 July 2020 – After the successful donation of Jollibee meals for frontliners at the Tan Tock Seng Hospital on 10 June 2020, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore recently arranged free Jollibee meals for frontliners at the National University Hospital (NUH).

Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Joseph del Mar Yap personally turned over the Jollibee meals to NUH personnel, including its Filipino frontliners, on 17 July 2020.

Jollibee sponsored the 300 meals that were enjoyed not just by the Filipino frontliners, but also by their Singaporean and other expatriate colleagues.

“The Philippine Embassy continues to honor our frontliners here in Singapore, whether Filipino, Singaporean, or other nationalities, who serve as brave COVID warriors. We are happy to partner with Jollibee in this endeavour. Jollibee is not only an iconic Filipino symbol but it has also truly become a well-loved brand worldwide, including here in Singapore,” Ambassador Yap said.

There are around 500 to 600 medical professionals at NUH, working as doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and other allied health professions. END
