ITB Asia is an annual international business-to-business trade show and convention for the travel industry where international exhibitors of Asia Pacific’s leading travel companies and emerging small and medium-sized enterprises meet with top international buyers from the MICE, leisure and corporate travel markets.

Singapore is the 9th among the top ten countries of origin of visitor arrivals to the Philippines in 2018. Since 2015, an average of 174,500 visitors from Singapore arrived yearly in the Philippines.

International tourist arrivals to the Philippines rose by 7.7% to 7.1 million visitors in 2018 and a total of 4,133,050 international tourists visited the Philippines, marking an 11.43 percent increase for the first half of 2019. The Department of Tourism is targeting 8.2 million tourist arrivals in 2019.

A large number of Filipino outbound tour operators – canvassing and hunting for value-for-money travel packages for the growing number of outbound Filipino travellers – also attended ITB Asia 2019. END
