Tired of long queues to get OEC? Book appointment on-line at POEA
Posted on Tuesday, 4 December 2012
POEA has launched the Balik-Manggagawa OEC on-line appointment system on 05 November, 2012 for the convenience of vacationing workers to the Philippines. OFWs now have the option to secure an appointment by accessing the POEA website at www.poea.gov.ph where they will be able to choose the location where to get the BM-OEC in the Philippines. The POEA has put up counters at its main office in Ortigas Avenue, Mandaluyong City; Duty Free Philippines in Parañaque City; and SM-Manila where they can obtain OEC or exit clearance at a specific date and time.
OFWs staying in the provinces can walk-in at the POEA Regional Offices nearest their place without making an appointment to secure an OEC.
As another option, OECs may also be obtained at the Philippine Embassy in Singapore, only thru on-line appointment, at www.philippine-embassy.org.sg.
