Accreditation Requirements for Employment Agencies

Singapore employment agencies / companies are allowed to recruit Filipino workers only if they are accredited by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).  Accreditation documents are verified and authenticated at the embassy prior to submission to POEA by the counterpart POEA licensed agency.

Documentary Requirements:

  • Two copies (original and photocopy) of the following:
    • Certificate from Registry of Companies (ROC) print-out
    • Notarized Special Power of Attorney (SPA)
    • Notarized Recruitment Agreement (RA)
    • Notarized Job Order and Manpower Request (JO/MR) specifying skill, monthly wage rate, number of workers and qualification requirements
    • Notarized Master Employment Contract form duly signed by the employer (all pages of the contract should be signed by the employer)
  • One copy of POEA license of Philippine counterpart agency
  • Singapore Licencee IC and Philippine Licencee Passport
  • Original manpower demand from client companies in support of JO/MR to Philippine agent
  • One originally signed Service agreement between Singapore Agency and client company plus one photocopy

Note:  For additional Job Order / Manpower Request, it should specify the following:

  • Notarized Job Order
  • Notarized Manpower Request
  • Notarized Master Employment Contract (signed on all pages by client)
  • ACRA/BizFile of Client
  • IC of the client company’s owner
  • Service agreement between client company and agency
  • POEA License and Passport copy of POEA Licensee
