Foreign Government Official Visa


Embassy Advisory, 20 March 2020:

The Philippine Embassy informs the public that, effective 20 March 2020 until further notice, it is suspending temporarily all visa issuances. Visa-free privileges, including those pursuant to visa waiver agreements entered into by the Philippines with certain countries, are also temporarily suspended. All previously issued visas are deemed canceled except those issued to: 1) foreign government and international organization officials accredited to the Philippines; and 2) foreign spouses and children of Filipino nationals.

All visa applicants are required to make a prior appointment via email. This will enable the Embassy to advise if the applicant is eligible to be granted a Philippine visa.

Send your request, together with the application form and the documentary requirements to consular.sgpe@gmail.com and indicate “Application for PH Visa” as the subject.

Requirements for the official:

  1. Third Person Diplomatic Note issued by the Diplomatic or Consular Mission indicating purpose of travel to Philippines
  2. Accomplished visa application form
  3. Diplomatic or Official Passport with at least six months of validity beyond the date of departure from the Philippines
  4. Photocopy of passport information page
  5. Recent photograph, size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, colored and taken against a white background

If the official will be accompanied by dependents, their names must be included in the Diplomatic Note and the following items for each dependent submitted with the principal official’s requirements:

  • Accomplished visa application form
  • Passport with at least six months of validity beyond the date of departure from the Philippines
  • Beginning 01 October 2016, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore will accept only electronic passports and machine readable passports for visa applications. Non-machine readable passports (hand-scripted passports) will not be accepted for visa applications.
  • Beginning 01 January 2017, Philippine immigration authorities will not allow entry into Philippine airports and seaports of foreign nationals holding non-machine readable passports.
  • Photocopy of passport information page
