Business Visa for Urgent and Necessary Travel

The Philippine Embassy informs the public that, effective 20 March 2020 and until further notice, it is temporarily suspending  all visa issuances. Visa-free privileges, including those pursuant to visa waiver agreements entered into by the Philippines with certain countries, are also temporarily suspended.

All visa applicants are required to make a prior appointment via email. This will enable the Embassy to advise if the applicant is eligible to be granted a Philippine visa.

Send your request, together with the application form and the documentary requirements to and indicate “Application for PH Visa” as the subject.

Visa applicants are strongly advised to finalize their flight booking only after the visa is granted. The Embassy will not hasten the visa processing to accommodate the applicant’s flight schedule.

The visa processing time is dependent on the applicant’s nationality and usually takes two (2) to ten (10) business days. Processing could be faster if the applicant’s country has an existing visa agreement with the Philippines. For some applicants, evaluation may require a longer period of time.

Please note that no refund of visa application fee will be made if the visa application is denied or if the visa is approved after the applicant’s scheduled departure date.
