Travel Document

A Filipino citizen who does not have a valid passport, for one reason or another (such as a tourist who lost his/her passport), and wishes to return to the Philippines immediately may apply for a travel document. This document is valid for single use only (one direct flight to the Philippines).

Personal appearance of the applicant at the Embassy is required.

Basic Requirements

• Photocopy of old Philippine passport or NSO-certified birth certificate;
• Three (3) passport photos 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm in size, taken within the last six (6) months, colored with ROYAL BLUE background (refer to detailed photo requirements);
• Duly accomplished application form, obtained at the Embassy;
• Cash payment for Travel Document fee (refer to consular fees)

The travel document is processed for two (2) days.

If the applicant will be unable to claim the travel document, he/she may delegate the collection to another person with a proper letter of authorization.
