Philippine Overseas Labour Office – Advisory No. 3, Series of 2013

Posted on Thursday, 17 January 2013

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) launched the Balik-Manggagawa Overseas Employment Certificate (BM-OEC) on-line appointment system last 05 November 2012.

OFWs should secure an appointment by accessing the POEA website at www.poea.gov.ph where they will be able to choose the location where to get the BM-OEC in the Philippines. POEA has put up counters at its main office in Ortigas Avenue, Mandaluyong City; Duty Free Philippines in ParaƱaque City; SM Manila; and Trinoma, Quezon City where they can obtain OEC or exit clearance at a specific date and time of their own choice.

OFWs working in Singapore falling under the BM category, who wish to secure OEC at the Philippine Embassy in Singapore, should make on-line appointment at www.philippine-embassy.org.sg.

OFWs staying in the provinces who do not have internet access can proceed to the POEA Regional Office nearest their place without an appointment to secure OEC.

Please be guided accordingly.
