Effective 19 September 2012, the Embassy shall fully implement a web-based appointment system. The so-called “walk-ins” seeking appointments are requested to log their appointments online, at http://philippineembassysgconsular.checkappointments.com. Those without internet access (domestic helpers and fishermen who are not knowledgeable of the internet and have no internet equipment) may still come in person to the Embassy, where they will be assisted in logging onto the online appointment system for their schedule.
Since ePassport processing has a turnaround of almost eight (8) weeks, we advise applicants to renew their passports in advance. A lead time of nine (9) months is recommended, since authorities in Singapore usually require a passport with at least six (6) months validity.
Those whose appointments were scheduled under the old system can still carry on with their appointments.
