First Voter in Singapore

Ms. Clarita Labrica, the first voter in Singapore for the Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV). Ms. Labrica lined up on 13 April 2013 at the Embassy premises as early as 7am. The OAV ended on 13 May 2013.

Ambassador Minda C. Cruz casting her vote using the PCOS (Precinct Count Optical Scan) machine on 13 April 2013. Registered voters in Singapore were encouraged to vote as early as possible to avoid the rush and long queues. The Embassy was open daily, including on holidays and weekends, for the OAV exercise until 13 May.
